AlbionBlack is operated as a personal publishing project. These terms govern your use of the site. They are intentionally brief.

The content

All written content on AlbionBlack — articles, descriptions, copy — is original work and is copyright AlbionBlack. You may quote short passages for the purposes of commentary, criticism, or education, with attribution and a link back to the original. You may not reproduce articles in full, publish them elsewhere, or use them as training data for machine learning systems without written permission.

Images on the site are either licensed, out of copyright, or original. Do not reproduce images without checking their individual status.

Accuracy

AlbionBlack publishes articles about folklore, mythology, and history. We try to be accurate and note our sources. We are not an academic institution and our articles should not be treated as peer-reviewed scholarship. Where we have made errors and had them pointed out, we correct them. If you find an error, please write to hello@albionblack.com.

The shop

The shop is not yet open. When it opens, separate purchase terms will apply to any transaction. Submitting your email address to the notification form does not constitute a purchase or any contractual obligation on either side.

We may link to external sites. We are not responsible for their content and linking does not imply endorsement.

Limitation of liability

AlbionBlack is provided as-is. We make no warranties about availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
